Technology
is essential. How? We all know; for example, the computer has become a necessary
device in our lives. Computers have a big influence in our lives. Just imagine a
world without computers: we would feel lost because computers have become a
routine technology for our current generation. Computer technology invites us
to activate the field of education in an innovative way, which is a tremendous
development. The computer is the nerve center of the development process -
economic, social, and educational. It is the main tool that processes fast
data. Computers can work in all fields and disciplines, so it is important to become
proficient, and only 1% of the population takes no notice of using computers. Many
people cannot live without computers because they are a way of communication,
which is why most people adore technological devices. As a summary, we cannot live without gravity,
the same thing happened to us with technology.

Give High School Dropouts a Second Chance
On opening days of school year, students seem to be glad and
excited with their schedules and eager for learning. But by the middle of the
year, the signs of joy turn into despair and boredom. Hence, they begin to ask
many questions: Why do we have to go to school every day? Why all days are the
same? Why do we have to attend same classes each day? And so on; which lead
them to boredom and so they resort to improper activities and finally to drop
out. Others, who remain in school, begin to go through behavior change; they
take days off, they become irresponsible, neglecting their homework
assignments, initiate trouble and last but not least, offend the instructor in
the classroom. The relish for all of this behavioral change is because school
no longer becomes a pleasant place.
Truly I was bored of the same classes and I
was not the only student who was bored of her daily schedule. But I felt guilty
of having these feelings and so I decided to find out why. I asked my friends,
I asked other students, and I finally asked myself why everybody was bored of
the same daily schedules. I believe new schedules is the key to most students
who are really bored of their classes, and I am stating these facts since I am
also one of the students, and I along with the rest look forward to become
better students.
When speaking to my friends and other students, most of them
agree that if school had provided mix schedule during the week and variety of
hands on activities in classes, we would interact and have more fun during
classes. By implementing different classes with hands on activities related to
the topics learning in class, I believe that the absences, skipping, and other
negative things of the students will be decreased. There is a possibility to see
higher grades and more energy from the students. I am absolutely positive that
the teachers will see a big increase in the students’ activity and a huge
change in the responsibility, character, service, and personality of the
students. With this new offering of course schedules, it would be the key to
opening new doors of happiness for the entire student body and our nation.

Some Food Bring Happiness
http://blogs.kqed.org/bayareabites/files/2009/07/cooked-fish500.jpg
Food, everyone loves food. Food is important; it gives us energy to
work and stay alive and to keep growing. In this blog I want to talk about food
that makes us happy, happy? Yes happy.
We know that the marine fish are important to provide us with
vitamin D. They also contain a good omega-3 fat for the human body. This fat protects
the heart and helps relieve sadness. Marine fish also provide iodine. Nutritionists
advise us to eat at least two servings of fish a week.
Walnuts and chocolate are important too, as recent studies have
shown that they benefit in lowering cholesterol as they contain useful fatty
acids. They also help to avoid depression, in other words they help you to get
into a good mood. These kinds of foods
have the Omega 3 fatty acids which make the memory stronger and helps improve
mood. People should eat these foods in
moderation, as large amounts of any kind of food may be harmful.

Muscles are not for women
We know that sports are good for the human body, to keep us in a good shape and be healthy. We also know that men and women are not physically equal. A man cannot have a baby just as a woman cannot grow huge muscles. I think it is awkward that a woman can wrestle. A female is an affectionate and sympathetic living thing that can not hurt. She is created in beauty with a white heart and not meant to kill or harm. I am not saying that a female cannot learn karate or any other martial art to protect herself from her surroundings, what I mean is that a woman is the nicest creature on this earth. She cannot battle and grow big muscles. A female that grows big muscles loses her beauty and her femininity. On the other hand I think men should have big muscles for they look cool and charming, just like make up makes women prettier.

Yoga
aisquared.com
Yoga is a technical way of controlling oneself. It is a spiritual experience and a deep understanding of oneself. Actually, yoga is not a common practice in my country. I was inspired by it by a movie that I watched, which I can’t remember the name of right now. I do yoga when I am angry, nervous, upset, or have free time. It cools me down, it makes me relax, and it helps me to understand my desires, emotions, and needs deeper. I think I do yoga because it makes me feel better, and it takes out the negative thinking and feeling. Yoga is a good way to avoid stress. It also helps your body to get in good shape. It’s a way to keep your mind focused and your body in control. I am not going to stop yoga because it became one of my hobbies.

Beautiful Memories
Sometimes you sit down, and without your realization, your thoughts lead you to remember your memories. The great and awful times that you had, the events that became memories. I am as deep as the sea; I think each one of us has memories and secrets. In this blog I am going to share the best thing that happened in my life: my sister’s birth. Hiba is her name, and I am older than her by one year and half. We grew up together. We shared everything: toys, bed, books, and games; etc. She was always with me wherever I went. She is not just any sister; I have always felt that she is my best friend and she is my twin. As we are growing older, we share our little and huge secrets. It is so nice because I speak to her and I am utterly trusting of her. We encourage each other’s goals and dream. I am pretty sure that I cannot live without her because my soul is connected to her, and I have been with her for my whole life.

ID
Many students at
L.H.S. do not pay attention to the I.D. policy. Actually, I am one of them,
which is why I am writing this blog. Over the weekend, I sat down, I.D. in
hand, thinking about the blog that I was going to write. I looked at my I.D.
and thought about why I do not wear it. It is really simple, just put it around
my neck. But we sometimes do not think why it is significant to put it on.
Actually, we are putting our school in danger, and we are the ones who are supposed
to prevent strangers from entering the building. It is also our duty, but we
look at our I.Ds in a different way. Now, students care more about their styles
and fashions. I personally do not wear it because I think it does not look good
on me, and it does not match my style. I think I have to face my responsibility
and wear it; it is not a big deal. We, of course, do not wish something bad to
happen to our school and to our students’ and teachers’ safety, which is why
wearing IDs is important.
